Let the blogging begin.

Website after website and I'm finally able to get a blog set up.

Hello World,

My name is MaRhea (Maria) my husband's name is Samuel, and we are the Wadsworths.  We are expecting our first child, Samuel Montague (Tague for short) in late June. For this first post I will give a little bit of background information so you can get to know my husband and I a little better.

Samuel was raised in Bancroft, Idaho and he has 4 brothers and 1 sister. He went to school in Bancroft until the 5th grade, it was then that he transferred up to Soda Springs. He became involved with the music, band and drama department while attending high school. And it was Soda Springs High School that he graduated from in 2010. He went on to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Mississippi Jackson Mission. Upon returning home he started and completed a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) program, and found work shortly after. He is now attending Idaho State University where he is studying Health and Exercise Science and will also be going into Physical Therapy.

As for me, MaRhea, I grew up in Soda Springs, Idaho with twin older brothers and twin younger sisters. Talk about middle child syndrome to the max! I also attended school in Soda. I was active in sports when I was younger but didn't continue past junior high school. I was also involved in music, drama and yearbook in high school. I graduated in 2009 and then went on to attend a semester at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. After taking a semester off I then attended Brigham Young University - Idaho (BYU-I) for a year and made a lot of great friends there. I soon then realized I wasn't finding anything I was interested in. After another summer break I found myself in Logan, Utah at Bridgerland Applied Technology College (BATC) studying American Sign Language (ASL) for a year with the goal to work for becoming an interpreter. The ASL interpreting program was cut only two weeks after I had been accepted and started the program. After that I have just been working and haven't had much of a desire to go back to school. I'm sure I will eventually but currently my focus is becoming a new mommy.

Now how Sam and I met and started dating goes back to high school. One fun fact before I go into all of that is that Sam's first date ever was going to Homecoming with me and that was also my first date ever. <3 I know romantic right?! But during high school we had a lot of the same interests and starting hanging out with the same group of friends. After Sam and I went to Prom 2009 together we started dating. We went through a few rough patches as a lot of couples do but we made it. When he left for his two year mission I was so sad and scared because I didn't know what was going to happen, and secretly Sam didn't want me to date anyone else while he was gone. Well his wish came true. I was open to the idea of dating other people but it just didn't happen for me. Besides that, anytime I started to get close to someone Sam always was in the back of my head. He informed me that he would anxiously wait every week for my letters. There were a few times that I missed and he got a little worried but I always wrote back. After the two years of writing, we started dating again and Dec. 15, 2012 we went to Temple Square with my family and my best friend got down and one knee and asked me, "Will you marry me?" Well I said yes and May 1, 2013 we were married and sealed together for time and eternity. The same day the my great-grandparents and my parents were married. Now almost a year later we are expecting out first child and we couldn't be happier.

I'm new to this whole blogging experience but my mother has recommended I do it so we will see how it goes. I hope you all enjoy Sam and I's story and there will be more to come. Well until next time as Tigger would say TTFN - Tata For Now!!
